The Tshwane Regional Football Association (TRFA) hereby invites nominations and expressions of interest (EOI) for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to serve on the reconstituted Technical and Development Committee, following approval by the Regional Executive Committee on 23 January 2026.
Purpose of the Committee
The Technical and Development Committee is responsible for overseeing technical matters, supporting coach and player development, advising the Regional Technical Officer, and ensuring compliance with SAFA, CAF, and FIFA technical frameworks.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants or nominees must demonstrate:
- Strong technical and tactical football knowledge, including long-term player and coach development pathways;
- Relevant CAF coaching qualifications and practical coaching or technical experience;
- Minimum of five (5) consecutive years of active involvement in football (coaching, technical advisory, or administration);
- Leadership, strategic thinking, and sound decision-making skills;
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct;
- Independence and freedom from conflicts of interest (may not hold executive positions within the TRFA REC or SAFA National structures);
- Willingness to undergo background and compliance checks; and
- Availability to commit time outside normal working hours.
Nomination Process
Self-nominations and third-party nominations are permitted.
All nominations must be submitted in writing, accompanied by a brief motivation and supporting documentation.
