From the Desk of the President | Leadership Restructuring

Dear Stakeholders,

The Tshwane Regional Football Association (TRFA) announces the appointment of new leadership following decisions by the Regional Executive Committee (REC) at its 16 December 2025 meeting to restore trust, transparency, and effective governance within the region.

The following appointments are effective immediately:

Acting Regional President and First Vice President:Following the resignation of Ms Rebecca Morudu as First Vice President, the REC has appointed and co-opted Mr Tebogo Matlou to act as Regional President and First Vice President.

Regional Secretary:Following the suspension and subsequent resignation of Mr Sello Ramabya, Mr Sizwe Nkosi has been co-opted as Regional Secretary.

These critical steps are being taken to rebuild confidence among members, clubs, and stakeholders and to address past challenges, including the misappropriation of funds and lack of accountability. The TRFA leadership is committed to:

– Ensuring transparency and sound financial management.

– Reconnecting with all members and clubs to strengthen relationships.

– Promoting accountability, integrity, and good governance in all regional football activities.

The TRFA calls on all members and stakeholders to support the new leadership team as they work diligently to restore trust, strengthen governance, and advance football development across the Tshwane region.
