The tournament kicked off on the 28th of June 2026 with a 32-team knockout stage, then went to a 16-team knockout stage, and then to the quarter-finals. See the stages below and the results thereof:
Tshwane Regional Football Association notes this project, and how it connects football participants with their future aspirations, knowing that not everyone who plays football will end up a professional footballer. It provides clear linkages to the love of the game, personal development from the game, benefits of which can be used in professional careers other than football, as witnessed by the sponsor, Mike Mnisi.
On this we would like to congratulate the Soshanguve Local Football Association (SOLFA) and the sponsor of the tournament, Mike Mnisi, on such a profound project.
Noting that this year is the third instalment of the tournament, we wish that this arrangement may last for decades to come, grow by leaps and bounds, and never depart from association football.
The regional association has been invited to the finals, which will be played on the 19th of June 2026 at Giant Stadium. See the brochure below.
The region endorses this tournament, acknowledges that it contributes value to association football, and inspires young people of the game, true to the driving force of the association that says,
For the Love of Football, For the Love of Tshwane, and For the Love of its Youth.
This is what we are talking about.
