On Sunday, 12 April 2026, a youthful cohort of the Tshwane Regional Football Association’s match officials took to the exam room to write. We congratulate them for their courage in taking steps to improve themselves in the line of duty.
It started on Saturday, the 11th of April 2026, when they took classes in preparation for the exams. Such dedication from such young people at the regional level is applauded.
The leadership of the region extends its appreciation to the referees’ leadership, which has and continues to show foresight in the development of match officials. We do acknowledge though that much still needs to be done to get the match officiating at the region at the desired level, and this is one of the best ways to achieve this goal.
Soon we will be publishing a rolling programme of development, including fitness tests, training facilitation, exams, congruency with provincial and national programmes, promotions, etc.
We say well done to the youthful cohort of Tshwane match officials. The future is theirs.
